When you book or contact us, we collect:

• Name, address, email, phone, to schedule and complete your pickup.
• Photos you text us, to estimate the job.
• Payment information, processed by Stripe; we don't store card numbers.
• Job notes from the crew (what we hauled, where it went), for the routing summary email and warranty records.

We use your information to:

• Run your job (route the crew, text you arrival times, send your invoice).
• Send the routing summary email 24 hours after pickup.
• Reply when you contact us about a guarantee claim or follow-up question.
• Comply with California tax and recycling reporting requirements.

That's it. We don't add you to a marketing list by default. The "email me updates" checkbox at booking is opt-in, not opt-out.

• We don't sell your phone number, email, or address to anyone.
• We don't add you to Facebook custom audiences, Google retargeting, or LinkedIn match lists for at least 90 days after your job, and only if you opted in.
• We don't send "we miss you" reactivation campaigns.
• We don't share your data with affiliates, marketing partners, or data brokers.

A small number of vendors process specific information on our behalf:

• Stripe, payment processing
• Twilio, SMS arrival texts
• Google Workspace, email + calendar
• QuickBooks, invoicing + bookkeeping

Each vendor is bound by their own data agreements and processes only the data needed for their service.

Job records: 7 years (California tax / CalRecycle requirements). Marketing opt-ins: until you unsubscribe. Photos texted to us: deleted within 60 days of job completion unless you ask us to keep them for warranty documentation.

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have on you.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to retention laws above).
• Opt out of any sale of your data, though we don't sell it to begin with.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Email info@junkjunkys.com to make a request. We confirm in writing within 7 days and complete within 45 days.

Our site uses essential cookies to keep your booking state and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, anonymized IP) to understand which pages people actually use. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no Facebook pixel by default.

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Junk removal is a service for property owners and tenants of age in California.

If we change this policy materially, we post the new version on this page with the effective date updated. We don't email you about it unless the change affects how we handle data you already gave us.
